Make Payments Simply

The Columbia County Clerk's Office has contracted with GovPayNet to offer customers the option of paying criminal fines and restitution online or by phone. GovPayNet is not a branch, office or department of Columbia County. GovPayNet is a third party vendor, operating as a Service Bureau on behalf of the Columbia County Clerk's Office. GovPayNet will provide credit card transactions services on behalf of those wishing to pay fines and restitution using a credit card. GovPayNet will charge a convenience fee for each credit card transaction enacted.

This service is safe, reliable, and in accordance with all state and government regulations. In order to process your payment, GovPayNet, the credit card service provider, charges a convenience fee.

Payments can be made with a major credit, debit or prepaid debit card, including:

You will be asked to enter information such as: 

Case Number
Your credit card information
The amount of the payment

The system will: 

Tell you the total of your payment including the convenience fee
Obtain approval of the charge
Issue an onscreen confirmation number and printable digital receipt
The charge will also appear on your credit card statement

GovPayNet is a privately contracted credit and debit card processor under an agreement with the agency intended to receive payment. If the payment is bail or bail related. GovPayNet is the merchant of record. Providing a remote cash bail processing service. For all other payments, The collecting agency is the merchant.
